Description

This authentic Roman coin, more than 1750 years old, stems from the town of Alexandria from the region of Troas, around the ancient city of Troy.

On the obverse of the hand-forged unique piece, it shows Alexandria, the patron goddess of the city, and on the reverse the Capitoline Wolf, as she breast-feeds the two brothers shrouded in legend, Romulus and Remus. According to legend, the pair of brothers founded the city of Rome.
