Description
She initiated numerous socially political measures through the Eva Perón Foundation in order to aid the socially weak by means of the construction of hospitals, schools, care homes and orphanages.
Despite resistance from the military, she involved herself profoundly in regard to the political rights of women, which led to the introduction of women’s voting rights in the year 1947.
Through these efforts, she did not just become a role model for the Resistance, but also a tough campaigning figure, who was simply referred to by the nation as “Evita”.
