Dating from 1992, this set of banknotes is the first complete series issued by the Russian Federation after the breakup of the Soviet Union!

The front sides are decorated still with a portrait of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin, the great Marxist theoretician and revolutionary, as well as the national coat of arms of the Soviet Union.

The back sides of the banknotes show the Moscow Kremlin and a variety of decorative patterns.
