Tokelau (“North wind”) consists of 3 tropical coral atolls with a total area of 12.2 km² and is a region in the South Pacific dependent on New Zealand. It is located north of the Samoan Islands, east of Tuvalu, south of the Phoenix Islands, southwest of the far flung Line Islands and northwest of the Cook Islands.
Tokelau is one of the most remote locations in the world. The island paradise in the South Pacific has a rich and remarkable underwater world.
