The QEII Royal Cypher 2022 BU Coin

Whilst the long-reigning Queen Elizabeth II has celebrated various impressive milestones during her reign, no royal event has inherited as much importance as that of the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations, marking 70 years of unprecedented reign. Having spent more time on the throne than any other British monarch, Queen Elizabeth is one of the most treasured figures in Great Britain, and is adored by millions of people across the globe.

In line with the celebration this year, we are extremely excited to announce the release of this commemorative coin especially dedicated to Her Majesty’s 70th Jubilee. This unique reverse design features Her Majesty’s Royal Cypher, encircled by the Lily of the Valley (Her Majesty’s favourite flower), and the Golden Wattle (Australia’s national floral emblem).

The design is finished with Seventy St, Edward’s Crowns fanning out, one for each year of her majesty’s reign.

The Coin’s obverse features the renowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark, as well as its denomination of 50 cents.

Issued in 2022, there are only 70,000 of this brilliant uncirculated coin available worldwide, a small edition limit considering the love shared for the queen around the globe!
