Description
The 3 authentic coins, up to 250 years old, originate from the key phase of the principality.
These impressive coins were produced under 3 different rulers: Frederick Augustus II, Frederick Christian, and Frederick Augustus III.
Frederick Augustus II is the son of the famous Augustus the Strong and was the last Saxon Elector who was also the King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania.
Frederick Christian controlled Saxony for only 74 days before he died of smallpox.
A coin of Frederick Ausgustus III, who assumed regency at the age of just 13 in 1763, completes the set. He refused the offered crown of Poland and concluded peace with Napoleon.
